United Way Innovative Campaign Award
PRESENTED TO COMPANIES THAT BOOST EMPLOYEE PARTICIPATION BY CREATIVITY
The United Way of McHenry County on Tuesday night recognized many businesses that have continually supported its annual fundraising campaign. United Way collects money from generous donors and awards that money to 26 local nonprofits for specific programming that fills vital needs throughout the county.
Corporate Disk Company has been supporting United Way for years and awards its employees with a monthly VIP parking spot for donating to the local program through random selection. Those employees then choose to accept, or usually put it up for bidding, in which all money raised goes all back to United Way of McHenry.
